The Consultancy Project and Professional Thesis
The Consultancy project is the keystone of the International MBA program. Two partners, the participant, the company or Consulting Cabinet work together to develop and finalize the project : audit of the company, the analysis of needs and objectives, strategy of negotiation.
THE PARTICIPANT
Each project allows the participant to use its abilities of analysis, to develop and orient solutions permitting the company to establish their objectives. The students find themselves with upper-level access for observation and participation in the company, moving among and in direct contact with the upper managers : the leaders of the company, to whom they submit their conclusions.
THE COMPANY
The Consultancy project gives the company an efficientcontribution in a specific area. The element that the company seems to most appreciate is the exchange of ideas within a team made up of internal managers and outside contributors. The company attends the needs of the participants, assisted by a project Director, for a result similar to that of group of consultants. The Consultancy Project is an occasion to carry out an analysis over a rather long period of time, an analysis that few decision makers are allowed, because they are monopolized more and more by the daily management of the business.
The Consultancy project is also an occasion for the company to evaluate the potential candidates in unique conditions. Each participant coordinates with a Project Director and consulting professor. These directors are management strategy consultants in international business corporations. Their role is to orient, direct and advise the participant during his Consultancy project so that they achieve the goals set by the company.
Thanks to their knowledge of international business and international education, they constitute an essential interface between future managers, whose quality of education is of primary importance for conducting of successful businesses, and the companies which must adapt their development policy to ever changing economic realities.
This collaboration permits companies a problem-solving solution, external to the constant day to day handling of business necessities, worked out by academically rigorous student professionals, specializing in techniques of international negotiation.
In order to prepare The Consultancy project , the student must organize the management of project by proposing a working methodology.
Professional Thesis : A project is undertaken at the European and International level.
The Consultancy project proposed in agreement with companies partners of our MBA program is carried out in partnership with the ECMU-Brussels. The Consultancy project is the subject of the written thesis.
